I tried looking at some airplane baggage sites, and have had no luck.
I don't know what I'm allowed to bring, cosmetically, in a carry-on during my flight.
Can I bring my foundation in a glass bottle? I don't want to get to the airport and have them tell me I have to throw away my $35 foundation because it's in a glass bottle!
Can I transfer my lotions and liquids into unmarked bottles?
I've heard you can't bring hand sanitizer, is that true?
And lastly, can I bring a hair dryer and straighner in a carry-on?
Help! What type of cosmetics am I allowed to put in a carryon in a plane? ?
You can bring everything except liquids but here is the full list on the official website http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/p鈥?/a>
But anything that is important to you or expensive like your foundation keep it in your suitcase to avoid breakage or risking losing itWhat type of cosmetics am I allowed to put in a carryon in a plane? ?
I think the best thing to do is call the airline directly. Go to the website of the airline that you will be flying with and call the 1-800 number. I have the same questions as you do and I also need to know the same thing. I am leaving for a trip in two weeks to Phoenix. Have fun wherever your destination is!

E.L.F. COSMETICS ? please answer if you've used it before?
I'm thinking about ordering some items online from e.l.f, so i was just wondering which products would be good. Heres what i bought so far:
-small angled brush
-eyeshadow primer
-consealer brush
eyeshadow brush
- eyelash curler
Oh yeah, are there any other good items too?
And i've heard that their eyelash curlers really good and worth the price but im wondering which one is better, the normal one ($1) or the studio eyelash curler ($3)
Thanks for all your help! =]E.L.F. COSMETICS ? please answer if you've used it before?
The (studio) small angled brush is amazing! Great bang for your buck!
The eyeshadow primer sucks. Get something more upscale.
The concealer brush is pretty good.
The eyeshadow brush does wonders!!!
Eyelash curler is meh. You might like it. I've only tried the original.
I would recommend the all over color stick (thought I think it tastes gross when you put it on your mouth) - it's a great highlighter. I also like the cover stick. It still has yet to break me out.
I love ELF!E.L.F. COSMETICS ? please answer if you've used it before?
I think what you bought is good :)
The ELF cover stick and color sticks are MUST HAVES because they go on nice and natural, stay put, and can help any makeup on top of them stay on long and vibrant! :)
The ELF eye brightening eye shadow quads are AMAZING, especially when applied on top of the Elf all over cover stick. They're very pigmented and good quality.
Oh, and for the eyelash curler, either would be fine but I'd go with the studio :)
E.L.F's lipgloss is really good it has a color and a lip plumper on each end.
you can get their products at Target for a dollar.
Yes their stuff is good

Pixi and Boots cosmetics?
Does anyone know if these companies test on animals?Pixi and Boots cosmetics?
If you've done a search on that website and can't find anything, it's likely that the company will not comment on whether they take part in animal testing or not. Companies that don't respond to inquiries, more often than not, test on animals.Pixi and Boots cosmetics?
Boots Natural Collection don't, but I'm not sure about the others. In general they will say on their website or products if they dont!

Job at Sephora, cosmetics counter? age 17, very close to 18?
Hi! I'm 17 years old, i looove experimenting with makeup and i especially love sephora. I want a full-time seasonal job for this summer. Unfortunately I don;t turn 18 until august, and soon after that ill be leaving for my university studies faar away. Do you think I can nail a job at Sephora at age 17? Is it unheard of? I want to add I am very precocious and mature, love the classiness of sephora girls, and have numerous honors in school and am going to a great university this fall. would these help my case? I just graduated high school last week.Job at Sephora, cosmetics counter? age 17, very close to 18?
get a work permit from your high school, doesn't matter if you graduated already. check with sephora first, to see if they require a permit at all.
good luck, hope you get the job.Job at Sephora, cosmetics counter? age 17, very close to 18?
It would probably help, but you now have less than 2 months until you leave. You may have better luck working retail outside of cosmetics as they may want to train you more. Just my thought.
I think Sephora requires some sort of cosmetic experience because you help a lot of people and have to answer questions. They may want to train you. I would get another retail job, plenty of places hire just for the summer.

All-Natural Vegan Cosmetics Company?
I'm looking for an all-natural company that sells only vegan products. So far the only one I've found is Raw Gaia but I'm just looking for a good hand cream and their products are a bit too expensive.
Any ideas? ThanksAll-Natural Vegan Cosmetics Company?
Hi Beauty without Cruelty is a vegan cosmetic company, and have a look at the website below for vegan cosmetics, they also list bodycare, skincare, haircare, there is a handcream by the Green People.

LUSH are great! They are not all vegan, but a LOT of their products are. Many products from Lush are certified by the Vegan Society.
http://www.lush.com/
You can order online in most countries.
I personally think LUSH is fantastic, it has a firm stance against animal testing. It uses natural ingredients and only SAFE synthetics. All of their products are effective and pleasant to use.
I use a vegan cleanser called 'Angels on Bare skin'. Sounds strange, but check it out!--%26gt;

If you are concerned about Sodium Laureth Sulphate (a foaming agent) then check the packaging to be sure. Lush is the most vegan friendly cosmetics company I can think of.

Hope this helps!
Suki. They do use beeswax, though. Aubrey Organics is one of the true vegan lines. I love their products, and they do work. A great hand cream you can make yourself is just shea butter mixed with a little avocado oil. Inexpensive, and you know it's vegan!
Green People; not 100% vegan, but 100% vegetarian and mostly vegan.
None of their formulations or products are or ever have been tested on animals and most of their products are registered by the Vegan Society.
http://www.greenpeople.co.uk/
lollibomb sells a lot of vegan
productshttp://www.welovelollibomb.com/
.... They come in many different scents and are super creamy!
To the best of my knowledge, Arbonne company products are 100% vegan and all-natural. It's expensive, but worth it - it's awesome stuff.
Animal Aid only sell vegan cosmetics and toiletries
Kiss my face. I'm not being rude its a brandname. They even have a website, hair gel

ANIMAL TESTING FOR COSMETICS!!!!?
Tell me anything you know about animal testing. and answer the following questions.
1- what is your opinion on animal testing for cosmetics?
2- what are the pros and cons of animal testing for cosmetics?
3- if their would be a law passed for that in america, how would they do it. would they decide on their own and who would decide and would they take a public vote?
4- has thier been a law already passed for that? wat is it called?
6- is their a reliable website for statistics on animal testing for cosmetics in america and internationaly?
doing a debate in it, any tips
thanksANIMAL TESTING FOR COSMETICS!!!!?
The majority of animals used to test cosmetics were rabbits and the test was the Draze test. The Draze test was a test for allergic reaction, basically the cosmetic was injected into the eye of the rabbit and the animal was observed to see is a reaction developed and how bad it was. The FDA does not require the Draze test in most cases so it has largely been abandoned by the cosmetic industry because of the expense. All animal testing is regulated by both the FDA and the USDA you can find a good deal of information at the USDA web site. Finding statistics on animal testing will be almost impossible, there is no requiement for the companies that do animal testing to release information to the public and the USDA doesn't collect statistics.ANIMAL TESTING FOR COSMETICS!!!!?

public vote

no
6- is their a reliable website for statistics on animal testing for cosmetics in america and internationally?
not that i know of
when they test eye shadow on bunnies they pull their eye lids open so they cant close them and sometimes they go blind. :((
1. I think it is disgusting, inhumane, and unnecessary.
2. There are no pros. Cons it is harming animals for NO REASON. Those developing cosmetics can grow skin in petrie dishes (there is a method of doing this) and it is ridiculous to use animals when animals don't react in the same way as humans would.
3. It would probably depend on the individual state.
4. There is not a law prohibiting animal testing for cosmetics, if thats what you're asking.
5. It is hard to find websites without a bias. Google search this, and find answers from both sides of the debate.
