MAC cosmetics question. (:?

OK. I'm just getting into MAC and currently don't have anything from them. But I was wondering what should I have to begin with. Like when I go I'll probably have $50 to spend, plus I get 20% off because my dad works there. So I was wondering what should I get?


And please don't say stuff like 'only you can know what you like' and stuff like thatMAC cosmetics question. (:?
hey hun, MAC is great as i also just got into them like a year ago now haha but yea they are expensive but worth it and slowly you will be able to build up your collection


i started off buying eyeshadow and they have the best range and colours, its so cute when you colour collection grows :D


then i bought a foundation and concealer - i got the powder studio fix and just a tube of the concealer


next i want to get the primer they have (i prob should get that first but im finishing another one i have right now) it makes your skin seriously smooth and ready to apply make up on perfectly!


things like eyeliner and mascara i think you can get away with buying from any brand. eyeliner is all the same so theres no need to spend $30 extra on stuff like that lol

if you have a nice foundation from clinque already, then whats the point of going to waiste more money from M.A.C?

I'd say get MAYBELLINE NEW YORK the colossal volum express, i use it and it works just as great as mac mascara. and eyeliner .. it depends if you like liquid or pencil .. id say if you like liquid though go and buy one its called


QUO liquid eyeliner, its amazing and litterally stays on all day!


if you just want a pencil though, i advise you to get a M.A.C eyeliner because it willl last you.


For eyeshadows the main ones are just like 18$ each its not that bad, try looking around the store or ask the people working there if they have any like eyeshadow specials.


If your dad works there you could ask him.


Then buy brushes ect ect, and your all set

probably a good concealer because the make up artists will help find Your perfect shades, some cuts eye shadow because i really like the mac eye shadow and its really good, blush because again the make up artists will help you or you can ask what things would be a good school look or party look or work look or a natural look etc you get it. hope you go and find what your looking for
I love M鈥鈥, but I've found that certain things by others I like better and many times save me money too. Personally I'd just get some M鈥鈥 stuff to supplement what you already have. $50 won't go too far though.





their eye makeup is about my favorite so I'd probably get some essentials of that. Great mascara love Zoom Lash, Fluidline liner is my fave, Prep+Prime Eye shadow primer.

buy what you use? like i mean there's no point in buying foundation if you have flawless skin.





do you prefer eye makeup? MAC is best known for their pigments and eyeshadows.

The first thing you should get is their eye liner pencil. It works really well. They also have great colors of eyeshadow, and great makeup brushes, although they are pretty costly. Have FUN!!

Get an eyeshadow that compliments your eyes
just get some of the basics eyeliner foundation and some mascara
retrospeck %26amp; woodwinked eyeshadow.
You should just start out with buying foundation from them. And thats about $50. LOL.
