What cosmetics can you recommend that stays all day without drying out skin or making it oily?

The color stay lipsticks that I have tried have all been dry and chalky.


The foundation that matches my complexion dries me out or make my skin oily.


Eyeliner- well it smudges


Macara- it cakes up


powder eyeshadow- it is gone in an hour


creme eyeshadow- cakes on the lids





Many cosmetics I have tried are expensive. Some inexpensive.


I am a woman of color and I need a line that will accomodate that. I am a black woman with a light complexion. Any suggestion will be helpful.What cosmetics can you recommend that stays all day without drying out skin or making it oily?

For lipstick, try cliniques lipsticks called buttershine they are REALLY moisterizing and they dont dry out, Nars is the same way.

I just recently started using MAC Studio Fix foundation. It is about $25 a bottle, but I find I don't go through it as fast. A little goes a long way where as when I was using drug store brands I had to use alot more to get the coverage I want and need to blend and cover all my imperfections. Plus it seems to control oil much better when I use it with the blot powder. I only have to touch up 2-3 times instead of 5-6. Good luck!
