I am a 15 year old girl that is starting to get tired of drugstore brand makeup and leaning towards more higher end makeup. So for all of you that know anything about MAC Cosmetics, I have a few questions for you!
1. Is MAC worth buying for a 15 year old girl?
2. What eye shadows would you recommend for a beginner? (I have tan skin with brown eyes and hair, and if you could tell me a lid, crease, and highlight color(s) that would be nice.)
3. Is Mineral Skin-finish Natural really better than drugstore pressed powders?
Any other tips or things you know about MAC Cosmetics that might be useful to me would be greatly appreciated too. Thanks so much!MAC Cosmetics Questions?
Advice- MAC runs out quickly ( I have no acne except for the few blemishes on my nose), Studio fix ran out in a month. So make sure you can afford it.
1) Yes, I think so. But ask for them to give you a makeover and then you can find what looks good on you and then buy it.
2) Naked lunch, very pretty creamy color. Or any light brown
3)Honestly, its probably the same. Not sure though.MAC Cosmetics Questions?
If you can afford to buy MAC, I don't see any problem with it. MAC is a very good cosmetic company to try out especially with high-end cosmetics.
For the eyeshadows, you can try All That Glitters all over your lid with Satin Taupe as a crease color. As for a highlight, you can try Naked Lunch, which is a beautiful highlight color. These are all considered neutrals, which is perfect for a beginner because neutrals are easy to do.
I've heard that the Mineral Skinfinish Naturals are really good, but it just depends on the person. I broke out with MAC skincare products like their foundations, but I'm perfectly fine with their blot powder. Just try the Mineral Skinfinish Natural of your color for a week and if you don't like it, you can exchange/return with MAC.
I really don't know much about the Studio Sculpt Concealer. Again, it depends. Sometimes, it's a hit and there are other times it just doesn't work out for the person. Again, try it out and see if you like it. As for the Rubenesque Paint Pot, all paint pots are great investments. They help the eyeshadow from creasing and makes a great base!
ok , as far as MAC it depends. i am a make up junkie and i love MAC matte lipsticks and paint pots are good strong all over colors. You can use them anywhere. However, its fun to mix and match brands, i use anything from NYC cosmetics with Dior mascara (which i highly recommend) do some research, go to Sephora and Ulta , if they dont have any in your town, check out their sites. It will open up a whole new make up world to you!
